Lindsey James-West

Financial Planner and Managing Partner

Lindsey’s number one focus is helping people achieve financial peace of mind.  She has built a reputation as a personally-engaged problem solver who provides exceptional, hand-on guidance. Working with other advisors, attorneys, tax professionals and caregivers, her approach is inclusive, transparent and education-based. In addition to working with her clients, Lindsey teaches retirement and tax planning courses at various Houston Community College campuses and also works with companies to bring financial education into the workplace and help employees become financially informed.

Lindsey is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and has Series 7, Series 66 and Group 1 Life, Health and Variable Insurance licenses. She holds a B.S. from Northwestern University and completed the CFP® Certification Program through Rice University. Lindsey is a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) and Houston’s National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA).

Although Lindsey is a long-time resident of Houston, she enjoys traveling and has spent time living in Chicago, Spain and London. Lindsey loves yoga, running and exploring Houston’s neighborhoods on foot. She is a Sustaining Member of the Junior League of Houston and supports Casa de Esperanza, an organization that provides a safe place for children in crisis due to abuse, neglect or the effects of HIV. Lindsey lives in central Houston with her husband and two children.

Lynne Karoll James

Financial Planner and Founder

Lynne’s focus is sharply aimed at planning and helping individuals build tailored strategies to achieve their retirement dreams.  Lynne began her career in the 1970’s focused on life insurance and estate planning, providing protection for individuals, families and business owners.  From there, she broadened into financial planning, initially focusing on helping people who need to integrate government pensions like TRS into their retirement savings and income planning. After being in the financial business for over 45 years, Lynne takes pride in the fact that she has a number of clients that have worked with her for decades.

Lynne attended the University of Wisconsin as well as the University of Mexico in Mexico City after four years of boarding school in Florida playing competitive tennis nationally. She holds a Series 7, Series 6, Series 63 and Series 66 License as well as a General Lines Life, Accident, Health and HMO License. She is a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) and the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) and in 2010 was named Woman of the Year by the National Association for Professional Women.

Lynne has lived in Houston for over 45 years, has two grown daughters and a son. She enjoys spoiling her grandchildren as well as traveling – particularly to Acapulco where she lived for a number of years after working as an actress and commercial model in Mexico City. Lynne is a supporter of M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, in memory of her husband, Louis, as well as St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Wounded Warriors.

Adam D. Goldman

Financial Advisor

Adam specializes in comprehensive investment management and retirement planning for retirees, young professionals, small business owners, educators and families. His primary goal is to simplify the complicated world of investments and help people preserve their hard-earned assets. He strives to provide objectivity, education and tailored advice to make a positive impact in the lives of all of those with whom he interacts. 
 
Adam enjoys working with people who need to integrate pension systems like the Teachers Retirement System (TRS) or the Optional Retirement Program (ORP) into their retirement plan. As a comprehensive planner, Adam’s scope of work extends beyond just investment accounts and annuities to also incorporate protection strategies like life, health, disability and long-term care insurance. Having built a practice on the foundation of retirement planning and focused on the prudent use of financial tools plays a major role in the way in which he engages with his clients.
 
Adam is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and holds his FINRA Series 6, 7, 63, and 66 as well as a Texas General Lines Life, Accident, Health, and HMO license. He is a graduate of California State University (BA) and Keimyung University (MBA) and completed his CFP® certification program through Rice University.  He lives in Fort Bend County and spends his free time with his wife, Chloe and their two cats, Milo & Luca. He enjoys keeping up with major league baseball and Texas BBQ.

Sari Enriquez Clyde

Marketing Director

As Marketing Director, Sari takes pride in client appreciation, bringing her event planning and creative experience to develop different ways to show clients how much we value them. Sari plays an integral role not only by taking care of LKJ Financial’s clients, but also helping extend the company’s services to prospective clients by planning educational workshops and events, generating promotions and marketing. She is passionate about helping Lindsey, Lynne and Adam provide people with the proper financial resources and education towards achieving financial peace of mind.

Sari moved to Houston from Los Angeles in 2008 to be closer to her family and quickly felt like a Houstonian. She enjoys spending time outside with family as well as taking care of her two adorable dogs, Tabbi and Lunita. Sari volunteers at the Houston Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals as well as the Wildlife Center and the Houston Food Bank. In addition, she loves gardening, sipping margaritas, listening to Latino pop, sparking up the barbecue and cooking delicious and spicy Mexican recipes.

Amelia Weber

Client Services Specialist

As Client Service Specialist, Amelia is a critical point of contact for our clients. She brings her bubbly personality and contagious laugh to her role at LKJ Financial, helping streamline communications between our existing clients, advisors and the rest of our team.

Amelia brings over 20 years of experience to her role handling client inquiries and managing the many administrative and operational aspects of client accounts and transactions to make sure that our clients have the best experience possible when working with LKJ Financial. Building and maintaining client confidence is her number one priority.

Amelia holds her New York Life, Accident and Health Insurance License and attended Houston Community College as well studying Graphic Design and Visual Communications at Lone Star College. Amelia has lived in the Houston area most of her life aside from a four-year stint in New York, where her family moved in order to be closer to her husband’s relatives. As much as they enjoyed experiencing four seasons, they moved back to Houston in 2020 and are here to stay.

When Amelia is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her oldest daughter and grandson as well as curling up with her husband and her three younger daughters who are still at home. She enjoys a good movie and also loves to soak up the sun – with sunscreen of course! Amelia’s favorite hobby is photography, and she appreciates getting time to spend honing her craft.

Leandra Guerrero

New Business Specialist

Leandra loves giving a warm welcome when our clients call or visit our office and is proud to serve as the new business specialist for new LKJ clients and friends.  She takes a great deal of pride in taking excellent care of anyone who comes into contact with LKJ Financial and loves seeing different faces and making them smile and feel welcomed. When an individual initially joins the LKJ family of clients, Leandra works closely behind the scenes to ensure that their experience is seamless and handled with care and attention to detail.

Although a native Houstonian, Leandra lived in North Dakota for almost four years while her husband served in the U.S. Air Force before moving back to Houston in 2012. She has two handsome boys and a beautiful step-daughter – all teens – who enjoy taking care of their two dogs and guinea pig. Family time consist of going to the movies, particularly Marvel Comics movies. Leandra also enjoys planning Disney trips for her and the family and has spent the last couple of years training towards earning her Black Belt in Tang Soo Do karate.
